Angela has been a client of Career and Life planning for seven years. In that time she has progressed her career in the Charity Sector. David was keen to change careers. After working with Career and Life Planning for two months he has now decided to progress within his present company in a new role that will give him the salary and career progression he wants. Mary was self employed and had not worked for an organisation for over 10 years. She wanted a part-time role that would give her an additional income in a role that would utilise her counselling skills. She now has a part-time role that utilised her counselling skills within the public sector. Andy had just completed his ‘A’ levels and was taking a gap year. Career and Life Planning worked with Andy on his application form and Interview techniques for a position within a Retail Bank. He is now working for the Bank during his Gap year. Helen had been working within the public sector since graduating from University but was very unhappy in the role. Career and Life Planning helped Helen to identify her key strengths using a variety of career assessment tools including Myers Briggs. She is now working in a new sector that will give her career satisfaction and progression. Sue was keen to change jobs within her present company but was failing at interview stage. Career and Life Planning worked with Sue on her Interview Techniques and she is now in a new position. Paul was 51 years of age and had been made redundant from the company where he had been working for 20 years. He was concerned that he would not be able to find another job because of his age. Career and life planning took Paul through a series of assessments to identify his strengths and facilitated him in how to use his network of contacts. He has embarked on a Portfolio career using the transferable skills he gained from his previous roles. David had just completed his degree in History and was
keen to gain a place on a Graduate Recruitment Programme with a Multinational.

and preparing himself for the assessment centres. He is now in his second
year of a Graduate programme with a Multinational. |
